Job Overview

GSL Education is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in Lincolnshire. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate student records and school databases, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Handle all correspondence, including emails and phone calls, in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and events for staff and students, utilizing effective time management skills.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, documents, and presentations, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Support the school's finance department with budgeting and invoicing tasks, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Provide a welcoming and efficient reception service for students, parents, and visitors, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Ensure adherence to school policies and procedures, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on clarity and concision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and school management software, with a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, with a focus on maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a collaborative and flexible approach.
  • Previous experience in a school administrative role is preferred, but not essential.
