Role Overview

The Marketing Communications Executive is a crucial addition to our Brand team. In this role, you will support the marketing, public relations, and partnership strategies for all managed hotels and affiliated restaurants across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the USA. During this exciting growth phase, you will collaborate with the brand and sales teams to devise and implement marketing strategies that elevate brand recognition. Your responsibilities will include bolstering the effectiveness of our owned and earned media channels, focusing on hotels, food and beverage, meetings and events, as well as new openings.

Positioned within the commercial division, you will work closely with various departments and external partners, including social media and public relations agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the regional marketing and brand team in enhancing the relevance and reputation of our hotels and managed restaurants.
  • Oversee the hotel marketing calendar and identify opportunities for cross-promotion among hotels.
  • Generate innovative ideas for hotel promotions through public relations, brand partnerships, events, and social media.
  • Support hotel photo shoots to create content for social media, PR campaigns, and brand channels.
  • Coordinate hotel collateral requests with the Graphic Design team.
  • Manage incoming press and influencer stay requests.
  • Maintain proactive communication with local hotel teams regarding project updates.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Team to support the overarching YOTEL marketing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Marketing or Public Relations.
  • Essential: Experience with consumer brands and project management skills.
  • Desirable: Qualifications in journalism, marketing, public relations, hospitality, or business are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Desirable: Experience in the Food & Beverage sector.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 360 software.
