**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Account Manager to join our team. As a National Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving our business growth by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key retail partners across the grocery industry.

**Responsibilities**

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with national and regional retail accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to meet customer needs and drive sales growth.

**Sales Strategy and Planning**

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge.

**Negotiation and Contract Management**

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with key accounts to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Manage P&L for customer account, including trade marketing spend.

**Forecasting and Reporting**

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and account activities.
  • Utilise category data analytics to build selling stories and internal recommendations.

**Requirements**

  • 2-3 years' experience in similar roles in fast-paced 'hunter' type environments.
  • Proven track record of successful account management and sales growth.
  • Strong understanding of the grocery industry and customer acquisition.
