About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team at Skilled Careers. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing exceptional support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and address IT helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
  • Assist with IT support, monitoring the IT service desk
  • Purchase and setup of new IT equipment
  • Setup and support of laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
  • Asset management, including warranties and disposal of redundant IT equipment
  • Completion of new starter and leaver procedures
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the team and provide on-site support at locations as required
  • Support users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • Creating FAQ and instruction guides as required, including internal training sessions
  • Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects
Requirements
  • Passion for technology and willingness to look for opportunities to assist and undertake day-to-day support
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience of network patching desirable, but not essential
  • Experience of Viewpoint & Field View is desirable, but not essential
  • Ability to liaise with users at all levels
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Passion for learning new platforms
  • Interest/passion for photography and video
  • Good understanding of digital camera settings
  • Basic understanding of 'The exposure triangle' Aperture / ISO / SHUTTER SPEED
  • Experience with Adobe Cloud software, including Lightroom / Photoshop / Premier desirable, but not essential
What We Offer

We offer a competitive basic salary of between £45,000 - £50,000, plus a package including holiday, pension, healthcare, and other company benefits. A full clean driving license and access to a car are also required.
