About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Fitter to join our team at ERIKS. As an Electro Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs to industrial equipment, including AC and DC motors, motorised gearboxes, pumps, and other rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out repairs to industrial equipment, including electrical and mechanical components
  • Fault find and identify defects and worn/damaged components
  • Have basic electrical testing capability to assess electrical condition of AC & DC components
  • Have sound mechanical engineering knowledge to identify and rectify faulty and worn/damaged components
  • Pump experience, including hot oil and water, and basic hydraulic knowledge
Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8am - 4pm

Friday: 8am - 4pm

Weekly hours: 39

Breaks: 45 minutes

About You
  • You will be flexible and able to work the hours required in a demanding and busy 24/7 service-oriented environment
  • Participate in call-out rota as required
  • Be able to work on site in addition to the workshop when required (site working experience is a distinct advantage)
  • Health and safety will be at the forefront of everything you do
  • You will be happy working with a team as well as working on your own initiative
