Marshalls PLC is seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to join our team at our Burton site. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring our operation complies with all environmental, health, and safety regulations while promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Lead SHE Compliance (Safety, Health, Environment) at our Burton site, working closely with the site team and external support functions to enable compliance with internal and external standards.
- Monitor compliance, policies, procedures, and management systems, providing updates at the monthly management meetings.
- Be involved in environmental planning, managing external contractors, assisting with SHE investigations, and driving improvements on-site in all SHE areas.
- Coordinate and facilitate the SHE risk assessment process and assist and advise as needed in developing safe work systems.
- Drive site SHE programmes, goals, and targets.
- Coordinate site internal and external SHE Training requirements.
- Attend regular site Safety Development Group meetings.
- Coordinate implementing, monitoring, and testing site emergency response plans and any associated training requirements.
- Assist and advise where required with accident and incident investigation and monitor the follow-up of corrective and preventative actions to closure.
- Ensure all routine SHE monitoring is completed in accordance with all relevant legislation.
- Conduct site SHE audits and inspections and coordinate 3rd party audits. Report, monitor, and drive the follow-up of actions.
- 36.5 hours Monday – Friday
