We invite customer-oriented candidates to join us as Aspiring Bus Operators at our Burton upon Trent depot.

Our commitment is to provide trainees with a comprehensive 2-week residential training program to secure your PCV license. This training is conducted at our specialized training facility in Bolton, Greater Manchester, where a residential pay rate applies, and accommodation is provided.

The pathway to obtaining your PCV license is straightforward; upon successful completion of your training, you will transition into a full-time Bus Operator within our organization, serving routes across Staffordshire and the East Midlands.

Our extensive training and development offerings include:

  • Complete PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) training valued at over £4,000, granting you a lifelong qualification
  • Ongoing support and guidance throughout the PCV license acquisition process
  • CPC training and continuous education to maintain your qualifications
  • In-depth route learning and vehicle familiarization before your first service
  • Company-specific training covering ticket machines, operational processes, customer service, and more.

Candidate Requirements

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old to be considered for the trainee program.
  • A valid car driving license with no more than 6 penalty points is required.
  • You must have applied for and received your provisional category D license from the DVLA.
  • Proficiency in the English language and effective communication skills with passengers are essential.
