Facilities Safety Coordinator

Position Overview:
The Facilities Safety Coordinator is responsible for overseeing on-site facility maintenance, basic machinery upkeep, and collaborating with vendors to address operational and safety issues related to facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with outsourced service providers effectively.
- Identify and analyze flaws in current methods, procedures, and processes, proposing enhancements.
- Facilitate communication with colleagues and assist the business in data collection and analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to address facility, machinery, and safety concerns.
- Engage with staff and contractors to promote adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team in promoting best practices and fostering a safety culture that supports business growth through effective risk management.
- Participate in incident investigations, site audits, and inspections.
- Help the HSE team in tracking and reporting all necessary metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the company’s record-keeping system.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Work closely with the HSE & Facility Manager and Operations Manager to ensure alignment with business priorities and strategies, particularly those related to HSE.
- Report directly to the HSE & Facility Manager.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Polytechnic Diploma in Facility Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Property/Facilities Maintenance. Fire Safety Manager certification is a plus.
- Workplace Safety and Health Level B certification is highly encouraged.
- Familiarity with HSE software such as Tableau, INTELEX, and MAXIMO is preferred.

- Capability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Proficient problem-solving skills.
- A keen desire to learn and adapt quickly.
Additional Information:
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Daily Working Hours: 8 hours (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM)
Weekly Working Hours: 40 hours
