Water Resources Specialist

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources and Drought Consultant to join a team based in Bristol.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water supply, water resource assessments, water resource planning, and drought response plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of water resource and drought planning strategies.
- Conduct drought management and drought response planning.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of drought management strategies.
- Assess and monitor performance of water resource management plans.
- Lead the implementation of drought plans and monitor performance.
- Conduct audits and annual reviews of strategies.
- Ensure water resource planning is aligned with catchment and water network strategies.
- Perform water supply risk assessments.
- Develop relationships with stakeholders and external organisations.
- Produce bids, tenders, and compelling business cases.
- Conduct site visits across the local area.
