The Role:
We are looking for a motivated Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to deliver high-quality education to students at KS3 and KS4 levels. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the upkeep of school facilities, including cleaning classrooms, hallways, and restrooms to ensure hygiene standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on school infrastructure, including fixing broken fixtures, handling minor electrical issues, and addressing plumbing concerns.
- Setting up and taking down equipment for school events, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
- Assisting with groundskeeping tasks such as lawn care and snow removal.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: At least 6 months to 1 year of maintenance experience in any setting, secondary school setting preferred.
- Training: Experience in a professional setting working in maintenance, repairs, or groundskeeping.
- Skills: Competence in basic maintenance and repair tasks to fix minor repairs.
