Key Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement effective preventative maintenance routines to minimize downtime and maximize plant availability.
- Breakdown Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, equipment, and components to ensure continuity of maintenance support for manufacturing.
- Installation and Modifications: Carry out installation, modifications, and decommissioning tasks as required, ensuring compatibility and safety.
- Quality and Safety: Maintain a high standard of quality and safety, adhering to company policies and procedures, and participating in safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Training and Development: Engage in training and development activities, and provide training for process operators and apprentices to improve mechanical engineering standards within the team.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance/industrial environment.
- Knowledge of a wide range of industrial plant and machinery, including mechanical/pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
- Apprentice trained technician with City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate or equivalent in Mechanical discipline.
