Trauma-Informed Support Specialist

FearLess is committed to delivering high-quality services that support victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse and victims of sexual violence. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children Services Practitioner to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide specialist advocacy and support to patients who have experienced domestic abuse and sexual violence, working closely with general practice teams to ensure timely and effective interventions.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with general practice staff, providing ongoing specialist advice and support around domestic abuse and sexual violence.
- Deliver training and refresher training to general practice teams on understanding, recognising, and responding to domestic violence and abuse, as well as sexual violence.
- Provide emotional and practical support to adults and children impacted by interpersonal trauma, focusing on trauma stabilization and facilitating access to further support services where needed.
- Collect and collate performance and monitoring data for reporting purposes, contributing to the evaluation and improvement of the Interpersonal Trauma Service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with general practice staff and service users.
- Strong knowledge of domestic abuse and sexual violence, including its impact on individuals and communities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent training and facilitation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging and informative training sessions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and interpret data to inform service development.
