Trauma-Informed Support Specialist

FearLess is committed to delivering high-quality services that support victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse and victims of sexual violence. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Children Services Practitioner to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide specialist advocacy and support to patients who have experienced domestic abuse and sexual violence, working closely with general practice teams to ensure timely and effective interventions.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with general practice staff, providing ongoing specialist advice and support around domestic abuse and sexual violence.
- Deliver training and refresher training to general practice teams on understanding, recognising, and responding to domestic violence and abuse and sexual violence.
- Collect and collate performance and monitoring data for reporting purposes, contributing to the evaluation and improvement of our services.
- Provide direct assessment, casework support, advice, information, and advocacy to patients who have experienced domestic abuse and sexual violence.
- Develop good working relationships with outside agencies, ensuring seamless referrals and support for patients.
- Keep accurate records of all referrals received and work done with or on behalf of service users.
- Arrange dates for refresher training sessions with practices, promoting awareness of the experiences and needs of people affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence.
- Deliver training to clinicians and non-clinical staff in participating general practices, highlighting the importance of trauma-informed care.
