We are excited to be supporting a leading engineering consultancy with a Chief Electronics Engineering opportunity based in the midlands.
Our client is a renowned expert in the design and delivery of electrified propulsion systems within the automotive, off-highway, aerospace/defence, marine, and energy sectors.
The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Chief Electronics Engineer or an excellent Principal Engineer to join our growing electric propulsion team. You will be responsible for delivering embedded power electronics solutions for a wide range of applications, from clean sheet to fully validated, production-ready hardware, using the latest tools and technology within our fully equipped facility.
The role is highly diverse, requiring a strong technical power electronics background, as well as good commercial and customer management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement power electronics solutions for electrified propulsion systems.
- Lead and manage multi-disciplinary projects to achieve budgeted margin and maintain excellent relationships with customers while mitigating technical and commercial risks.
- Provide technical training and mentoring to colleagues and customer engineers of differing abilities.
- Take an active role in the professional development of others within the function.
