About This Opportunity

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Divisional Clinical Pharmacist to join our dedicated team within the Surgical Division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and lead clinical pharmacy services, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care across our hospitals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical pharmacy guidance and support to the multidisciplinary team within the Surgical Division, ensuring optimal and cost-effective medication use.
  • Develop and implement innovative clinical pharmacy initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and contribute to the Trust's strategic objectives.
  • Lead a team of pharmacists, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment that promotes professional development and excellence in practice.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across different hospital sites to ensure consistent and high-quality pharmacy services throughout the Surgical Division.
  • Play a key role in the implementation and integration of new technologies, such as electronic prescribing systems, to streamline workflows and improve patient safety.

About You

You are a registered pharmacist with extensive post-registration experience, including significant hospital pharmacy practice. Your expertise in clinical pharmacy encompasses a wide range of surgical specialties. You possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record of managing teams effectively. Your commitment to continuous professional development ensures you remain at the forefront of best practices in pharmacy care.
