Job Title: Production Manager

iCOMAT is a pioneering company in the field of composite manufacturing, providing innovative solutions for the aerospace, automotive, and space sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing processes within our composite production facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines, ensuring seamless coordination with the supply chain, engineering, and quality assurance teams.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and conducting performance reviews to identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet the company's stringent quality standards and comply with industry regulations, collaborating with the quality assurance team to implement corrective actions and process improvements as needed.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement, increased efficiency, and cost reduction, implementing lean manufacturing principles and other best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the production budget, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities, providing regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Technology and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in composite manufacturing technologies and methodologies, driving innovation by introducing new technologies and processes that enhance production capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, with a master's degree preferred or equivalent relevant industrial experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a production management role within the composite manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of leading and managing production teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
