Software Engineer - Algo Trading

Quant Capital is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join their low latency trading team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new trading algorithms, primarily in Java and C++.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Trading and the Quant Team to design and develop new trading algorithms.
  • Contribute to the development of a new greenfield low latency trading platform.
  • Work on connectivity to Financial Exchanges.
  • Improve and maintain existing trading strategies.
  • Develop utility applications and Excel tools to support trading activities.
  • Work closely with traders to understand requirements for new applications and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Computer Science or Machine Learning degree from a top 40 University globally.
  • Excellent Java and/or C++ experience.
  • SQL skills.
  • Good understanding of general programming concepts and a diligent coding approach.
  • Interest in capital markets and/or crypto market making is a plus.
  • FIX experience is beneficial.
