We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Developer to lead our knitwear department and play a key role in driving the success of our brand.
As a Senior Product Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with suppliers to ensure compliance with European and global product development and quality standards.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, mills, and suppliers to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Working closely with our Design team to develop high-quality knitwear products from concept to completion.
- Creating and distributing technical packs for garment construction to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Assessing and approving test reports to ensure product quality and safety.
- Managing the critical path to ensure timely and successful product launches.
This role requires a strong background in knitwear product development, with experience in managing vendor relationships, delivering clear briefs, and negotiating costs.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Recent experience as a Senior Garment Technologist or Senior Product Developer from a fashion knitwear background.
- In-depth knowledge of construction and the product development process within knitwear.
- Ability to work in partnership with Design teams to understand and interpret their product vision.
- People management experience, providing direction and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, delivering clear briefs, and negotiating costs.
This is a full-time role based on-site, with no hybrid working available. Candidates must possess the correct right to work in the UK status and be based or willing to live in close proximity to our head office.
