Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance works across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services.

The Role

As a Engineering Coordination Lead, you will have a role that is out of the ordinary. Being part of the MEH Alliance working on Hinkley Point C is a chance to be involved in a major project with national significance. You will be part of our drive to a cleaner energy future in Europe's biggest construction site, working on the most innovative project in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead interface with MEH Engineering and the JDO when required
  • Conduct document, monthly and progress reviews
  • Attend CEMAR and Chair Lead meetings
  • Leading the implementation of SWITCH within the Construction Team
  • Conduct interviews for new team members and undertake PDRs for direct reports

Requirements:

  • Experienced in delivering and operating at an Engineer or Senior Engineer level, including experience working within Joint Ventures
  • Experience working on major construction projects
  • Proven track record in nuclear power (preferred)

Qualifications:

  • Degree Qualification (or Equivalent)
  • IOSH Managing Safely - Desirable
  • Relevant Professional Accreditation (PM, Construction, Engineering) - Desirable

Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
