We are seeking a motivated and suitably qualified Nuclear Project Engineer - Piping Coordination to join our Technical Communities based in the South West of England.
Key Responsibilities- Review and assess FCR (Field Change Requests) and NCR (site Non-Conformance) issued by the construction team.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to identify and resolve technical topics including FCR and NCR through characterisation, remediation, and delegation.
- Coordinate with Front Office and Construction Teams to Facilitate smooth information flow, request additional details, and ensure thorough communication.
- Provide technical support and expertise to close all open points / technical queries raised by the contractors.
- Provide a decisive escalation route for deadlocked issues and innovative solutions.
- Manage technical risk and advocate for pragmatic decision-making.
- Support engineering services for HPC with a focus on value engineering and optimisation.
- A relevant degree in engineering or science. If relevant, you should have achieved or be working towards chartership in that discipline.
- Piping-Mechanical installation and piping design experience.
- Broad experience in the nuclear industry.
- FCR and NCR management experience.
- On site experience in a highly regulated environment.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, and effectively influence diverse stakeholders.
