About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and suitably qualified Nuclear Project Engineer - Piping Coordination to join our Technical Communities based in the South West of England.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and assess FCR (Field Change Requests) and NCR (site Non-Conformance) issued by the construction team.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to identify and resolve technical topics including FCR and NCR through characterisation, remediation, and delegation.
  • Coordinate with Front Office and Construction Teams to Facilitate smooth information flow, request additional details, and ensure thorough communication.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to close all open points / technical queries raised by the contractors.
  • Provide a decisive escalation route for deadlocked issues and innovative solutions.
  • Manage technical risk and advocate for pragmatic decision-making.
  • Support engineering services for HPC with a focus on value engineering and optimisation.
Requirements
  • A relevant degree in engineering or science. If relevant, you should have achieved or be working towards chartership in that discipline.
  • Piping-Mechanical installation and piping design experience.
  • Broad experience in the nuclear industry.
  • FCR and NCR management experience.
  • On site experience in a highly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, and effectively influence diverse stakeholders.
