We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Teaching and Research Technician in the Physiology department. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and support to our teaching officers and students in the delivery of undergraduate practical classes and lectures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance and guidance to staff and students in the planning and delivery of undergraduate practical classes and lectures.
- Assist with histological work and ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and perform general administrative duties.
- Support apprentices in the department and contribute to the development of teaching materials.
- Education to at least A level.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in an educational setting.
- Good IT skills and manual dexterity.
- Accuracy, flexibility, and reliability are essential, as are good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small team.
