Job Overview:
The Employer Engagement and Partnership Coordinator plays a vital role in connecting with and assisting businesses to join initiatives focused on creating inclusive work environments. This position requires collaboration with employers to identify their requirements, offering a tailored support package, and advocating for positive shifts in workplace culture regarding inclusivity. The successful candidate will possess outstanding communication abilities, a deep understanding of diversity and inclusion practices, and the capacity to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Employer Outreach and Relationship Building: Engage with public sector organizations to present the initiative. Cultivate and sustain relationships with employers to ensure their ongoing involvement. Support and Collaboration: Provide continuous assistance to employers, guiding them in understanding and applying the support package. Work alongside employers to customize the support to meet their unique challenges. Program Advocacy: Communicate the advantages of the initiative to employers, emphasizing the significance of inclusivity and its beneficial effects on their organizations. Organize and take part in events, workshops, and meetings to connect with prospective employers. Monitoring and Evaluation: Oversee and report on employer engagement efforts, ensuring that objectives are achieved. Gather feedback from employers to enhance the support package and engagement methods. Promoting Behavioral Change: Collaborate with employers to encourage shifts in attitudes and behaviors towards inclusivity. Provide resources and training to assist employers in fostering more inclusive workplaces. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on engagement activities, outputs, and outcomes, including key performance indicators. Analyze data to detect trends and guide strategic planning. Long-term Impact: Contribute to the overarching goal of enhancing workplace inclusivity in the region. Share success stories and best practices to motivate other businesses to participate in the initiative. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all interactions and transactions are recorded in line with organizational policies and regulatory standards.Stay informed about industry trends and regulations to provide accurate guidance to employers.
