Overall Purpose


The individual in this role will be tasked with delivering support to the Community team, ensuring the provision of high-quality, customer-centric, and cost-efficient services. The aim is to mitigate anti-social behavior, enhance environmental quality, and foster community trust.

The team may offer solutions across various service areas requiring a presence within the district.

The services rendered by the team will be established in collaboration with department heads throughout the organization and will not be limited by internal protocols.

Supported services include functions related to housing stock.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes

  • Document and track complaints and service requests pertaining to Environmental Services
  • Provide administrative assistance to officers within Environmental Services, primarily focusing on those in Community Services
  • Offer guidance to the public regarding service-related inquiries
  • Gather data and generate reports for incident analysis, performance oversight, etc.
  • Conduct research and review records as necessary to fulfill FOI and similar requests
  • Aid in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
  • Draft letters, notices, certificates, etc., and enter data into the appropriate systems
  • Manage fixed penalty notices, orders, and process goods within the financial system
  • Perform research as directed by the Community Team Leader
  • Provide assistance to other teams within Environmental Services during peak demand periods in accordance with business priorities
