Job Title: Senior Patient Flow Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Acute Mental Health Services psychology team in West London NHS Trust. As a Senior Patient Flow Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing risk and providing a psychological perspective to care provided in the Hammersmith & Fulham Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive psychology services, including assessment, formulation, and brief interventions to service users and their families.
  • Offer indirect work, ensuring that all members of the multidisciplinary team have access to a psychological framework for understanding service user needs.
  • Develop knowledge and skills for the MDT to utilize a psychological framework through teaching, training, and supervision.
  • Work as a clinical member of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the systematic provision and governance of a high-quality specialist clinical psychology service.
  • Utilize research skills for audit, policy, and service development and research within the area served by the team/service.
  • Participate as a senior clinician and be an integral part of the leadership team involved in the development and delivery of a high-quality service.

You will work in a leadership role, developing and delivering a high-quality service that meets the needs of service users and their families.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology or its equivalent, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
  • Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Training in clinical supervision for doctoral and equivalent trainees.
  • Post-qualification experience of working in mental health settings delivering specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and interventions across a range of settings.
  • Experience of working with a wide range of client groups across the whole life course presenting with a range of psychological problems.
  • Experience of providing clinical supervision to assistant/trainee or qualified psychologists and/or other professionals.
