Key Responsibilities

As a Band 6 Pediatric Charge Nurse, you will be part of a busy unit that handles a significant volume of patients, ensuring high-quality, safe, and effective care. You will have the opportunity to work with Advanced Care Practitioners and a skilled medical team, all while receiving support from our Clinical Practice Education team dedicated to your development.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

  • Registered Sick Children's Nurse (RSCN) and/or Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive experience in Emergency Departments

Desirable Qualifications

  • Postgraduate Advanced Emergency Department Course or progress towards it
  • Teaching qualification (998 or equivalent)

Experience Requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience in Pediatric Emergency Departments

Desirable

  • Experience in Pediatric Acute Wards or similar settings
