Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will encompass:

  • Onshore Leadership:
    Oversee, mentor, and guide all Field Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and support.
  • Team Communication:
    Facilitate effective communication within the Field Engineer team to ensure that all initiatives are properly supported.
  • Technical Support:
    Act as the main point of contact for Field Engineers, providing essential technical assistance.
  • Change Promotion:
    Encourage and implement positive changes across the fleet, ensuring alignment of vessel services and equipment.
  • Training Advocacy:
    Identify and promote training needs within the team.
  • Documentation Oversight:
    Guide the maintenance of vessel service drawings and Field Engineer documentation.
  • Process Adherence:
    Ensure compliance with the Way of Working and NINA processes during project planning.
  • Engineering Support:
    Provide engineering assistance to the operations department, particularly for R&M and dry dock workscopes.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    Carry out any other tasks as directed by Line Management within specified timeframes.

Mobilisation Leadership:
Lead mobilisations and demobilisations, ensuring activities are conducted safely and efficiently according to approved plans.

Project Engineering Duties:
During offshore phases, you will assume the role of Senior Project Engineer, ensuring high standards of engineering quality.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • An engineering qualification (HNC or above) or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in Field Engineer or Project Engineer roles.
  • At least 3 years of offshore experience in a supervisory or senior position.
  • Relevant safety certifications including Opito BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS, MIST, and OGUK Medical.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
