We are seeking an experienced Procurement professional to lead our Central Procurement team, driving strategic procurement initiatives and delivering exceptional results.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of 11 procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of a first-class procurement function.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, processes, and procedures to maximize commercial value and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Procurement to deliver procurement frameworks and consultancy services to public sector clients.
  • Work closely with the Central Procurement data team to analyze data and identify opportunities for commercialization and value creation.
  • Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and legislation, working closely with the Head of Procurement compliance and quality.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a Head of Procurement, Procurement Manager, or Category Manager role, with a strong track record of savings delivery through negotiation.
  • Analytical mind, able to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Strong knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and processes, with a solid commercial mind.
