Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metrology Specialist to join our Dimensional Systems Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting precise mobile inspections to ensure dimensional quality. You will utilize advanced measurement systems, including GOM, Articulated Arms, Laser Trackers, and Creaform systems, to produce high-standard inspection reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting mobile inspections to ensure dimensional quality and accuracy.
  • Utilizing advanced measurement systems, including GOM, Articulated Arms, Laser Trackers, and Creaform systems, to collect and analyze data.
  • Producing high-standard inspection reports and working with BIW and T&F parts and assemblies.
  • Supporting the development of new processes and optimizing existing ones to enhance departmental performance.

Requirements:

  • Strong mobile inspection skills and a solid understanding of measurement principles.
  • Competence in using measurement systems like GOM, Articulated Arms, Laser Trackers, and Creaform systems, or similar.
  • Proficiency with GOM & Polyworks software or similar, and a good understanding of alignments and GD&T.

What We Offer:

Nixor offers a competitive salary of £40,000 (£200 a day) and a 39-week initial contract.
