Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Calibration Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a sound mechanical or electrical calibration background, particularly those with experience in process equipment calibrations involving temperature, pressure, and/or weighing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site calibration services for customers across various disciplines, including mass, dimensional, electrical, rheology, torque, temperature, optical, force, and pressure.
  • Train and develop skills in areas where the candidate is not experienced.
  • Occasional travel to Europe and further afield may be required, averaging 2 nights away from home per week.

Requirements
  • Experience in at least two of our calibration disciplines.
  • Adaptability and persistence in calibrating a wide range of instruments and equipment.
  • Good understanding of calibration practices and theories.
  • Desirable to have knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage workload effectively.
Salary

£35,000.00-£40,290.00 per year, with the possibility of overtime and other incentives.
