Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Tutor to join our team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting Refugee and Asylum Seeker doctors through the PLAB exams, GMC registration, and into NHS clinical jobs.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities include:

  • Close supervision of doctors on placement and creating and implementing detailed individualised educational plans
  • Tutoring to deliver remote and face-to-face clinical teaching and supervision to REACHE members
  • Development and delivery of clinical and professional skills teaching and the 'return to work' courses for refugee doctors

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GMC registration and licence to practice
  • Excellent communication and clinical skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience in working in a hospital setting and supervisory or management experience of medical students or clinical staff
