Senior Conference and Events Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Conference and Events Coordinator to join our team at a 4* luxury hotel in Buckinghamshire. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a small team of conference coordinators and handling inbound sales and events inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small team of conference coordinators to ensure seamless delivery of events and conferences
  • Handle inbound sales and events inquiries, converting leads into bookings
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel setting
  • Proven track record of sales success and ability to meet targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours
