We are seeking a skilled Risk Analyst to support our 2nd line of defence Risk team in ensuring the robustness and currency of our credit and financial risk management frameworks.
As a Risk Analyst, you will work closely with the business to identify, quantify, and assess risks, providing independent oversight and challenge from a risk management perspective.
The successful candidate will possess advanced analysis skills, with expertise in Excel, data analysis, and risk management. They will also have experience in producing insightful analysis from data sets and a strong understanding of credit risk and broader prudential risks.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the maintenance, development, and enhancement of regular reporting routines
- Prepare risk analysis for relevant stakeholders and committees
- Present risk data and intelligence in a clear and effective way
- Interpret data, analyze themes and trends, and communicate these to drive insights
- Support the embedding of a robust risk management framework, including risk management and policy reviews
- Undertake detailed analysis of credit risk portfolio performance to identify areas of emerging risk
- Work closely with various business units to create and automate tools for prudential risk projects
- Build and improve existing MI and analytical reporting tools to improve our understanding of current trends
- Strengthen credit risk capabilities by incorporating new data sources in credit risk oversight
This is a full-time, permanent role, supporting the effective risk management of the business. The salary on offer is up to £48k, dependent on experience.
