Position Overview

TPF Recruitment is collaborating with a reputable firm of chartered accountants seeking to add an Audit Associate to their dynamic team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals with external audit experience who are eager to join a firm that is undergoing significant transformation.


In this position, you will engage in a diverse range of responsibilities encompassing audit, accounting, and tax functions. Comprehensive training will be provided in accounting and tax for those primarily focused on audit.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and execution of audit assignments, ensuring compliance with established timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct fieldwork for audits, which includes testing financial statements, assessing internal controls, and identifying potential risks.
  • Prepare thorough audit documentation and working papers, ensuring precision and adherence to relevant standards.
  • Engage with clients to collect necessary information, address concerns, and communicate audit results.
  • Review and analyze financial statements to confirm their accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement in client accounting processes and offer constructive recommendations.
  • Collaborate with senior auditors and partners to formulate effective audit strategies and methodologies.
  • Assist in drafting audit reports and presenting findings to clients.
  • Stay informed about updates in accounting and auditing standards and regulations.
  • Participate in client meetings to foster strong professional relationships.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will be pursuing their ACCA/ACA qualification or be newly qualified. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualification level.


This role is designed for those seeking a career advancement at the Audit Associate level, with a clear pathway for growth and development within a well-respected accountancy firm.


Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between £30,000 and £38,000, depending on experience. Candidates with more extensive experience will receive appropriate compensation.
