Job Title: Children's Residential Care Team Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Residential Care Team Leader to join our team at Swanton Care & Community Ltd. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of care staff to provide high-quality care and support to children with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of care staff to provide high-quality care and support to children with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide training and supervision to care staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in childcare or social work.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
