We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Residential Care Team Leader to join our team at Swanton Care & Community Ltd. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our care staff, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child or young person.
- Ensure that all care staff receive the necessary training and support to deliver high-quality care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure that children and young people receive comprehensive support.
- Ensure that all care staff adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and confidentiality.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process for new care staff.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to care and support.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in childcare or social work.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of current legislation and policies related to childcare and safeguarding.
