We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Head of Pastoral Care. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pastoral support to students, addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student well-being and engagement.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to student support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to student welfare.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.

Requirements

  • 5 A*-Cs at GCSE, including English and Maths.
  • Experience of working with young people in an education setting.
  • Experience of providing pastoral support within an education setting.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
