- Address any pastoral concerns and collaborate with parents, teachers, and external agencies as necessary.
- Behaviour Management:
- Promote and maintain high standards of behaviour and attendance.
- Support teachers in managing classroom behaviour effectively.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
- Leadership and Development:
- Act as a role model for students, setting high expectations for conduct and achievement.
- Lead and support form tutors in their roles.
- Organize and participate in year group activities, assemblies, and events.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with students, parents, and staff.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to pastoral care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a pastoral or behavioural support role within a secondary school setting is desirable.
