As an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of activities to promote the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our patients. This will include arts and crafts, animal-assisted therapy, gardening, sports, games, dance and movement, drama, music, and community outings.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Your passion for caring for others and your ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a range of activities to promote the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of patients.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Assist patients with different recreation and leisure activities to reduce their level of depression, stress, anxiety, and to improve basic motor functioning.
  • Teach patients how to use community resources and other recreational activities to integrate into the community.

Requirements:

  • Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
  • Previous experience in the UK.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • A passion for caring for others.
  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to undertake further training and development.
