Job Title: Activities Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Activities Coordinator to join our team at Methodist Homes. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of activities for our residents, designed to promote social interaction, engagement, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a programme of activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Work closely with the senior team to identify and address social care needs, and develop activities that support these goals.
  • Design and deliver group activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident feedback.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for our residents.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in programme planning and delivery, preferably in a care or community setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to design and deliver activities that cater to diverse needs and interests.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
