Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team at Big Fish Little Fish. As an HR Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records, ensuring compliance with legislative and customer requirements, and providing exceptional support to employees and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain current employee files, including archiving personnel files in line with GDPR
  • Prepare and distribute induction packs to new starters
  • Monitor attendance and absence, and create reports on HR data
  • Manage recruitment process, including maintaining the company handbook and external website
  • Ensure all HR records remain up to date, including PDRs and Job Chats
  • Maintain controlled HR documents tracker, DSE, and First Aid requirements
  • Organize and maintain external occupational health assessments
  • Maintain payroll amendment file
Requirements
  • Good communication skills, combining empathy with an understanding of business needs
  • Confident working with individuals from all business functions
  • IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and email
  • Excellent organizational skills, with strong time management and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced office/HR environment
