Job Summary:
Stericycle is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Service Driver Class 2 Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our transport team, you will be responsible for the collection, destruction, and movement of confidential wastepaper and electronic storage devices on behalf of various clients in the professional, financial, and retail industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and transport confidential wastepaper and electronic storage devices from client locations
- Ensure the secure destruction of confidential materials in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional image at all times
- Operate a company vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues to the maintenance team
- Maintain accurate records of collections and deliveries
- Collaborate with the transport team to ensure smooth operations and meet client deadlines
Requirements:
- Valid LGV HGV C Category driving license and current drivers CPC
- Previous driving and customer-facing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a 40-hour week over 4 days
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to read and understand customer information sheets
- Ability to write clear messages on daily reporting sheets
