About the Role

RSM is a leading network of audit, tax, and consulting firms, providing innovative solutions to support middle-market businesses succeed. We are a rapidly expanding firm with ambitious goals, aiming to be the top advisor to the middle market on a global scale.

This role offers a chance to enhance a wide range of commercial skills and expertise across corporate reorganizations and Members Voluntary Liquidations within the team. While the primary focus is in London, our national practice allows the successful candidate to be based anywhere in the UK and collaborate with Partners/Directors across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete assignments following the Firm's standard procedures and relevant statutory obligations, and confirm arrangements with clients including estimated costs and billing structures.
  • Collaborate closely with other Corporate Simplification staff to plan and implement assignments, and oversee cases in line with the Firm's standard procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory obligations.

This might involve but is not limited to:

  • Assist and support the Corporate Simplification team, offering training and assistance to team members.
  • Prepare and obtain approval for engagement letters, ancillary documents, and intake procedures.
  • Meet KPIs for Partner/Director approval.
  • Ensure completion of assigned diary lines adhering to RA compliance standards.
  • Review and approve documents across IPS and Virtual Cabinet.
  • Handle general case administration including invoicing.
  • Comprehend projects thoroughly alongside Partner/Director and other RSM Tax, Accounting, and Legal teams.
  • Participate in initial meetings with clients and other RSM staff.
  • Analyze and question information provided by the client.
  • Manage large corporate entity reduction projects.
  • Take charge of asset realizations and distributions to members.
  • Prepare statutory reports.
  • Contribute to the team's growth through extensive networking and technical skills.
Requirements
  • CPI or JIEB qualified with prior experience in a similar role, capable of taking a leading role in Members Voluntary Liquidations.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and report writing skills, as well as strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in developing and managing stakeholder relationships with internal colleagues and external clients.
  • Proven expertise in either preparing financial information or analyzing data.
  • Background in Corporate Simplification or a related role.
  • Robust organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality work within specified timelines.
  • ACA or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
