RSM, a leading network of audit, tax, and consulting firms, is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Restructuring Specialist to join our Middle Market team. As a key member of our Corporate Simplification and Restructuring Advisory team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the firm's growth and delivering client-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in marketing events and support Partners and Directors in achieving their marketing and business goals.
- Collaborate closely with other Corporate Simplification staff to plan and implement assignments, and oversee cases in line with the Firm's standard procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory obligations.
- Assist and support the Corporate Simplification team, offering training and assistance to team members.
- Prepare and obtain approval for engagement letters, ancillary documents, and intake procedures.
- Meet KPIs for Partner/Director approval.
- Ensure completion of assigned diary lines adhering to RA compliance standards.
- Review and approve documents across IPS and Virtual Cabinet.
- Handle general case administration including invoicing.
- Comprehend projects thoroughly alongside Partner/Director and other RSM Tax, Accounting, and Legal teams.
- Participate in initial meetings with clients and other RSM staff.
- Analyze and question information provided by the client.
- Manage large corporate entity reduction projects.
- Take charge of asset realizations and distributions to members.
- Prepare statutory reports.
- Contribute to the team's growth through extensive networking and technical skills.
- CPI or JIEB qualified with prior experience in a similar role.
- Capable of taking a leading role in Members Voluntary Liquidations.
- Excellent technical, analytical, and report writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in developing and managing stakeholder relationships with internal colleagues and external clients.
- Proven expertise in either preparing financial information or analyzing data.
- Background in Corporate Simplification or a related role.
- Robust organizational and time management capabilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication to delivering high-quality work within specified timelines.
- ACA or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
