The Functional Safety Competence Center plays a crucial role in conducting essential safety evaluations and analyses within the automotive sector, where the reliability and safety of hardware components are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Technical Evaluations: Undertake assessments of automotive hardware components, including microcontrollers (MCU), system-on-chip (SoC), analog devices, and power systems, in accordance with the functional safety standard ISO26262.

2. Deliver Safety Assessments: Provide independent safety evaluations for hardware products, focusing on their ability to operate safely amidst random hardware faults.

3. Execute Fault Injection Testing: Implement fault injection testing to inform hardware design and enhance robustness against random hardware failures.

4. Foster Global Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with international teams across the company's global operations.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

1. Educational Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field is preferred, demonstrating a solid technical foundation.
