Job Title: Consultant Doctor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Doctor to join our team at the NHS. As a Consultant Doctor, you will play a crucial role in promoting the success of our Occupational Health Service, ensuring that clients receive a high-quality service based on the principles of clinical governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist knowledge and expertise in Occupational Health as a clinician, educator, advisor, and advocate.
  • Work with Trust colleagues in other specialties to ensure cohesive working when there are common interests, such as Infection Control, Chest Clinics, Dermatology, Safety, and Risk management.
  • Develop and implement policies and protocols to ensure the highest standards of occupational health are achieved.
  • Maximise the use of resources and exploit development opportunities to their fullest potential.
  • Empower staff within the field and act as a change agent and role model to ensure good working relationships.
Requirements:
  • On Specialist Register (Occupational Medicine) or a Specialist Registrar with CCST due within 6 months of interview date.
  • Evidence of CPD and membership of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine.
  • Relevant Occupational Health experience in a large/complex organisation.
  • Minimum of two years experience in NHS Occupational Health.
  • Thorough specialty knowledge relevant to Occupational health, such as MSK, mental health, occupational diseases.
