About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Physician Consultant to join our team at Medway NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Occupational Health Service, you will play a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance on occupational health matters to managers and staff
  • Develop and implement occupational health policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice
  • Conduct workplace health assessments and provide recommendations for improving workplace health and safety
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive occupational health service
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Trust's health and wellbeing strategy

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • On Specialist Register (Occupational Medicine) or a Specialist Registrar with CCST due within 6 months of interview date
  • MFOM or equivalent
  • Evidence of CPD and membership of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine
