About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Care Manager to join our team at Home Instead, where you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding quality care to our clients. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and development of our care service, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and support to individuals in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Converting new client enquiries into high-quality care plans
  • Care planning and conducting risk assessments to ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Managing a team to deliver exceptional service to our clients and workloads are managed accordingly

Requirements

  • Extensive care experience with excellent customer service and man management skills
  • Commercial awareness and ability to influence
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work well and accurately under pressure
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of the business, including participating in an on-call rota

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in a management role in health and social care is essential
  • Strong knowledge of relevant NI legislation and regulations governing the provision of care services, including RQIA regulations and NISCC
  • Good working knowledge of IT Systems, with experience of Microsoft Office and ability to work with large databases and virtual communication platforms
  • Possess the appropriate combination of qualification, registration and experience as set in the Domiciliary Care standards
