About the Role

As a Senior IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and working on various IT projects. You will be responsible for server management, network configuration, and working closely with clients on system implementations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide 2nd/3rd line support for escalated IT issues
  • Work on IT projects such as server upgrades and network configurations
  • Support and maintain virtual environments (Hyper-V)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems
  • Assist with hardware and software setup, configuration, and maintenance
  • Ensure client systems' security and integrity
Requirements
  • Hyper-V or other virtualisation technologies
  • Windows Server 2016/2019
  • Active Directory & Group Policy
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Networking (DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
  • Backup and recovery solutions
  • Firewall and security solutions
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues
