This role is pivotal in providing accurate, timely, and professional HR and payroll services, supporting the development of a person-centred organisational culture in line with our People Strategy and Strategic Plan.
Key Responsibilities:- HR Services: Serve as one of the first points of contact for all HR-related queries, managing the HR inbox, and responding to inquiries professionally.
- Payroll Administration: Administer payroll processes, including compliance tasks such as pre-employment checks, and maintain up-to-date HR databases and employee files.
- Employee Lifecycle: Assist throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, disciplinaries, grievances, and terminations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on employee data such as turnover, sickness absence, and engagement, supporting the HR team in communicating findings.
- Process Improvement: Maintain and update HR portals, conduct research on HR issues, and support process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Payroll Processing: Manage all aspects of payroll processing in collaboration with the Finance Team, including handling payroll changes, resolving queries, and supporting payroll automation initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience: Experience in payroll processing, procedures, and administration.
- Knowledge: Understanding of HR processes with a willingness to learn and develop further in HR-related areas.
- References: Satisfactory references and a satisfactory enhanced DBS Disclosure.
