Autism Anglia is a well-established charity celebrating 50 years. We have an exciting opportunity available for an HR Administrator on a full-time basis within our head office based in the heart of Colchester City Centre.

Autism Anglia provides direct provision for people within the Autistic Spectrum from pre-school to adults. We provide a range of services to enable autistic people to live as independently as possible and experience choice and inclusion in society.

The successful HR Administrator will work closely with the HR, Learning and Development and Recruitment teams offering an exciting and diverse role with a wide range of administrative and office support activities. The HR administrator will be responsible for administration duties and assisting the HR Manager in the efficient operation of the HR/administration function.

Autism Anglia is dedicated to providing ongoing training and supervision, continuing professional development and support as well as an extensive induction on commencement of employment.

- **Hybrid working pattern available.**:

- **Hours**: Full Time 35 hours per week
- **Salary**: £24,000 - £27,000 FTE depending on experience

**The role**:

- Managing the HR, Recruitment and L&D inbox
- Utilising the HRIS system for daily processing of tasks
- Maintaining accurate HR records
- Processing DBS Renewals
- Preparing basic payroll data
- Providing administrative support to the Learning and Development team
- Provide administrative support to the recruitment team
- Assist with the driving licence-checking process
- Carry out HR administration duties including staff DBS rechecks, HR personnel information checks, and review current staff personnel files to ensure ongoing compliance
- Minute taking at formal, internal and external meetings as and when required.
- Maintain the electronic filing systems.

**Applications are welcome from HR Administrators with the following**:

- Maths and English GCSE (or Equivalent) grade A - C
- Previous experience in a similar role providing administration support in a busy environment
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Outlook
- Previous experience of the Disclosure and Barring Service Checks is highly desirable
- Knowledge of the employee life cycle and associated administration processes is advantageous
- Previous experience with HR systems in particular iTrent would be ideal
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills are essential
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and speed
